Appendix IV: CLEC Investment Philosophy Cheat Sheet
Core Beliefs
Wealth is a birthright. Happiness is a human right. We rise and fall with America and human technology.
Operating Rules
One, buy only NASDAQ-100 index funds (QQQ / 00662 / 513100 and regional equivalents). Two, buy when you have money, market-order, no timing, no waiting, no hesitation. Three, never sell. Treat the index fund as permanent real estate, held across generations. Four, when you need cash, pledge-borrow, don’t sell. Five, pledge ratio no more than 20% of position market value — non-negotiable.
Prohibitions
One, no operations, no swing trading, no candlestick reading, no technical analysis. Two, no individual stocks, no bonds, no insurance products, no real estate (as investment). Three, no margin — only pledging. Four, no investment groups. Five, no listening to wealth advisors, bank consultants, financial pundits.
Risk Management
One, working: at least 6 months of emergency cash. Two, retired: at least 3 years of living expenses. Three, before investing, simulate a 70% drop (cut in half, then cut in half again) and confirm you can still live normally. Four, money you can’t afford to lose absolutely must not enter the market. Money you can’t lose goes to CDs.
Retirement Formula
Annual living expenses × 33 = required portfolio size
Eight-Character Maxim
Any time is the right time to buy; any time is the wrong time to sell.
Mottos
Every high is a future low. Not selling is the master. Operations are sin. Free earns the most. The market never stops rising.
End of Book
Wealth is a birthright. Happiness is a human right. May every reader board this train, and never get off.
