[Personal Finance Basics (1)] - The Investing Life
The investing life: opening the chapter of personal finance basics begins with understanding the investor's life. We do not need an overly complicated mind to learn investing; we first need to understand our own mindset.
The investing life
How do we begin [personal finance basics]? That is a big question. Let us first talk briefly about the chapter called [the investor's life].
Human beings have very complex minds, and understanding ourselves is a difficult project. But learning investing does not require a complicated mind. We first need to understand our own "inner mindset." Mindset matters, especially the mindset behind personal finance.
Now let us think about this: deep in your heart, what is the most important thing in life? Money, a mansion, traveling around the world, an LV bag, or financial freedom? Financial freedom lets you want what you want and do what you want. Of course, health is more important than financial freedom, but today we are talking about [the investing life and financial freedom].
What kind of life is a [life worth living]? Are you a capitalist? What is the difference between a capitalist and a laborer? What is the difference between a landlord and a tenant farmer? We spend ½ of our lives working, and what we receive in exchange is a pile of things in the garage that are useless and beyond our needs. After the exhaustion of work, what remains may be worn-out goods and a body troubled by illness. Is that worth it? Is it worth trading life for money? Can money only be earned from work? Is the purpose of work merely money?
If your finances were free starting today, your work would be joyful, not work done only for a paycheck. If starting today you knew how to use money to earn money and practiced thinking with the mind of the wealthy, then that would be the beginning of the investing life.
Starting today, you will learn [the power of money], how to [earn money effectively], how to make [asset allocation], how to pass through the [seven stages of investing], how to overcome the psychological obstacles of investing [fear and greed], how to understand value in the investment market, and how to observe industry trends and the direction of global finance.
Starting today, we will use the right mindset, learn the right investment knowledge, and gain more monetary energy.
Most importantly, if your finances are still not free, if you do not know how to manage money, and if you do not know how to reach financial freedom, then starting today, let us learn together the right concepts of personal finance and the steps and methods for achieving financial freedom.

Chapter 77 [Walking slowly on a long road - letter sharing part 2]
Hello, Mr. James: In this issue, some friends have asked questions about individual stocks, such as whether stocks of a certain concept can be bought, and whether those stocks will have the opportunity to rise sharply in the future. In my opinion, it may be that QQQ has started to correct after bottoming out, and everyone is more or less impatient (cannot bear loneliness, want to recover floating losses or want to make money faster). These psychological emotions are taboos when investing in the stock market. Let me first talk about my experience in the stock market. I entered A shares in 2017

Chapter 21 [Ignorance]
My earliest investment can be traced back to when I first joined Acer. At that time, Acer was preparing to go public. Our employees who had worked for more than one year could subscribe for 2,000 shares at $10 (or $12, I forgot about it!) NT$ per share. Later, the company’s stock market began to rise. Finally, because I wanted to buy the cheapest car (NISSAN SUNNY $220,000 NT$), the stock price rose to $110, so I sold the stock and bought a car. Of course now that I think about it
