Everyone wants to make money from investing, and even more people in the investment market only hope to make quick money or get rich overnight. They ask around for hot stock tips instead of working hard to learn on their own.
Investment learning is endless knowledge. Even I continue learning about investing every day. Every time I learn, I raise the quality of my investing by one level. There is no end to learning investment knowledge.
But I have found that most investors, including the students who receive our emails, do not really study. How do I know? Every time we put a video on YouTube, only about 500 people watch it. Of those, two-thirds come through email, and one-third are outside non-members. We have nearly 3,000 email students in Taiwan and the United States, which means fewer than 20% of our students go in and watch the videos. And each video is nearly one hour long, but the average viewing time is ten minutes. This shows that everyone has very little interest and patience for investment learning. :-) It also means spending a little more time on investing is absolutely worth it. It is very easy to beat these lazy people in the market.
Recently on our YouTube channel, besides investment newsletters, other videos give students a chance to learn quickly and shorten the investment-learning path, especially how to manage risk well, understand what risk is, and understand value-investing asset allocation.
On Facebook we have many investment newsletters we wrote in the past. If you are a new member, you can go to Facebook and read our past articles and materials.
You reap what you sow. Only through your own effort is it possible to achieve amazing results in investing. Buffett's business partner Charlie said: "It is foolish to think investing is too simple."

Chapter 47 [The 1929 Great Depression: Causes, Process, and Results, Part 3]
The Keynesian view: Keynes's basic idea was simple. To keep people fully employed, the government must run deficits during an economic slowdown, because private-sector investment is not enough to keep production at normal levels and pull the economy out of recession. Keynesian economists called on governments to make up the shortfall during economic crises by increasing government spending or cutting taxes.
