【The Previously Introduced USNQX Has a Fee. Small Investors and Dollar-Cost Averagers Can Switch to NDXKX, Which Has No Fee.】CLEC Investment Club Written date: May 08, 2019

The USAA NASDAQ-100 Index Fund (USNQX) introduced yesterday has a transaction fee at SCHWAB: $49.95 per trade. That makes it unsuitable for small investments.

Shelton Capital Management Nasdaq-100 Index Fund Class K (NDXKX) is No Load and No Fee, but it cannot be redeemed within 90 days; the Short-term Redemption Fee is $49.95. As long as you are not doing short-term trading, this has no impact.

Small investors are advised to switch to Shelton Capital Management Nasdaq-100 Index Fund Class K (NDXKX).
