The following is an article published by my securities firm on the conversion of IRA to ROTH in 2017 for your reference. If you are with another securities firm, you should contact your securities firm to see how to make this conversion.
I was doing an IRA transfer to ROTH today and found out that Charles Schwab wouldn't let me transfer, probably because I'm not yet 59 1/2 years old. If you are already 59 1/2, you may be able to transfer cash directly from IRA to ROTH, but you can't transfer stocks. Therefore, I suggest that whether you are over 59 1/2 years old or not, follow the following formal conversion methods and do not transfer cash from IRA to ROTH.
When I select the account from IRA to ROTH in the transfer, the following warning is displayed

CLEC 20211216 [Suggestion: Generally, the four major funds redeem and buy passive funds 00757 and 00662.] Recently, active fund performance has really been poor! Active funds, during an upward trend, take big bets (because retail investors bravely buy in) and their performance surpasses the market. Active funds, when the market is flat or volatile, are like retail investors (who fearfully redeem), causing performance issues.

From a Million Lost to Deleting the App: Doing Nothing at All Won Back Twenty Years of Tuition
Episode fourteen of CLEC James Talks: a friend spent over twenty years taking detours and paid close to a million in tuition, going from fixed monthly investing to dividend stocks, shipping stocks, and a volatility ETF. After completing his asset allocation he sealed the account for a year, did nothing at all, and recovered almost all of it. The real test is not the rise but the next fall.

Buffett's way of getting rich is simply investing in US index funds, which is still the easiest way to implement and achieve financial freedom smoothly. There are hundreds of ways to invest. Investing in US index funds is the easiest and most successful way that has been proven (although the process is not easy). There are different investment methods in the market. If the return can exceed the long-term return of U.S. index investment and has been proven successful for 20 to 30 years, of course it can. Invest in index and you will be rich in the long run.
