The best ways to buy funds in Taiwan:
-
Open an account with Franklin Templeton Investments and buy the Franklin Technology Fund and Franklin Growth Fund with zero subscription fees. Remember to use one of the ten partner debit banks, such as CTBC, Hua Nan, Taishin, SinoPac, Mega, First Bank, Taipei Fubon, Cathay United, Chang Hwa Bank, and the post office, to save on inbound and outbound transfer fees.
-
If you want to buy other funds I have introduced, the currently selected Morgan Stanley U.S. Growth Fund and JPMorgan Funds - U.S. Technology Fund (USD) (accumulation) should be enough.
You should open an account at FundRich. It has zero fees or very low fees, about 10% of the normal fee. FundRich can buy Morgan Stanley U.S. Growth Fund and JPMorgan Funds - U.S. Technology Fund (USD) (accumulation), but it does not sell Franklin Technology Fund or Franklin Growth Fund.
If you do not want to open fund accounts on the two online platforms above, you can use Cathay United Bank. Buying funds through banks has very expensive fees of 2%-3%, although sometimes there are discounts.

[Investing Mindset] - Buying at the Takeoff Point!
Over the past few decades of investing, I cannot say my results were brilliant, but I did roughly beat the market. The performance looked decent, yet I missed many key opportunities to build wealth.

Chapter 89: On Focus and Insight
Hello teacher, I remember that a few weeks ago my teacher talked about Lao Gao’s film about life and luck in the video. I later read a book called "The Science of Luck", which mentioned an experiment that left me a little confused about the balance between concentration and insight, so I wanted to ask the teacher for his thoughts. The experiment was like this: A research team recorded a video of a basketball game and asked the participants to continue to count the number of players wearing jerseys of different colors during the video. After the experiment, many people counted correctly.
