If the total loan amount of $58,690 is invested in the market at a 15% return, after six years when the loan is paid off, there is still principal of $37,343. By the tenth year, the funds reach $56,794. After the eleventh year, the funds reach $65,314.

So by buying a car with a loan, over the long term, your principal will eventually be earned back. If you do not use a loan and instead pay the full $63,190 at once, you lose that principal forever. No matter when you want to replace the car in the future, you will have to take out another $63,190. But the person who uses a loan to buy the car never needs to spend another cent again.

So we investors should not only make money through investing; when spending money, we should also use the best and most effective way to buy good products.
