Chapter 55 [Investment Philosophy] - Investment Belief
The same goes for investing and life! It’s about practice and faith! [Know], [Understand] It’s not difficult! But to the point of [believing] it’s a little hard. Sometimes I think I already [know] and [believe], but execution and knowing and believing are two different things. When it is impossible to execute according to what you know, it should still be "I don't know" or "I don't understand". Why do all religions have places like temples or churches that believers must visit at regular or irregular intervals? Christian, go every week.

[James Origin and Today] Chapter 55 - [Investment Philosophy] - Investment Belief (08/11/2023)
Go there on the first or fifteenth day of the Buddhist lunar month, or worship at a temple.
These are all difficulties and incoordination between belief and execution in life. Knowing and believing are one thing, but when you return to ordinary life, you will be confused again, and you have to go back to the temple or church.
The same is true for investment. The truth is very simple, and believing to the point of belief is a kind of practice.
Therefore, we mentioned the eight major classes of investment in class.
-
Hear
-
Know
-
Understand
-
Believe
-
Execution
-
Firm belief
-
Patience
-
Faith
From the first to the third level [hearing, knowing, and understanding], they are all stages of learning.
The fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh levels [believe, implement, firmly believe, and endure] are the stages of execution, where learning to know and action will be consistent. But [Easier said than done]
The sixth and seventh levels [Faith and Patience] are already very good, but they still cannot see through the world and understand the natural inaction of the stock market. Therefore, any changes in the market will cause investors more or less pain, so they are still patient. It’s a kind of practice!
Only when you reach the eighth level of faith can you truly reach the state of formlessness. When you reach this level, the market disappears, opinions disappear, and market changes no longer exist. If you see through everything, everything ceases to exist. There is no pain and no need to endure. In this state, everything becomes natural.
【make money! That is of course an easy thing].

Chapter 51 [There is no truth in the world! 】
There is no truth in the world, let alone in the market. All disputes are caused by defending what one believes to be "truth." But, in fact, the truth does not exist at all. We only know the statistical "truth", but it is not the truth. Truth only exists in mathematics. Buffett said that he has made more mistakes than anyone can imagine, and so do we in the market. Most of any operations will turn out to be mistakes. Those who claim to be able to predict future market trends are overestimating their own overconfidence. The point is Buffy

Chapter 45 [The 1929 Great Depression: Causes, Process, and Results, Part 1]
The Great Depression was the largest economic depression in human history. The United States' GDP fell 15%, U.S. unemployment reached 23%, and unemployment in other countries reached as high as 33%. Agricultural product prices fell 60%. By mid-1930, interest rates had fallen to low levels, but expected deflation and people's continued reluctance to borrow meant that consumer spending and investment remained low.

[Investment Philosophy (2)] - Investment Belief
Investment and life are both difficult! The difficulty lies in cultivation and belief! It is not difficult to [know] and [understand]! But it is a bit difficult to [believe]. When it is impossible to execute according to what you know, it should still be "I don't know" or "I don't understand".
