Just Because AI Can Write a Book Does Not Mean You Are Qualified to Publish One: Speak for 32 Hours First

James says AI-assisted publishing needs real understanding: if you cannot teach the investing philosophy for 32 hours, do not rush to write a book.

I strongly encourage everyone to promote our investing philosophy in any form.

For example, writing a book is fine. But whatever channel you use to promote our investing philosophy, the most important thing is that you have logically and clearly thought through the entire philosophy yourself. It should not be that you say a few sentences to AI in a few seconds and ask it to write a book or make a PowerPoint file.

I cannot possibly have time to review it, and I certainly cannot write a foreword for anyone's book. If someone casually throws a few sentences to AI and gets a manuscript back, the AI may write a book after you spend only two seconds saying a few words, but I would need four or five days to finish reading the whole book. That is not economically efficient and does not fit ordinary practice. So I will not inspect or review any books or content written by anyone based on our information.

That is why I say that as artificial intelligence becomes more developed, the amount of trash it produces may also keep increasing.

If you do not want what you produce to be trash, then at least half of it must come from your own complete understanding, or you must first create 50% of the language and text yourself, with AI helping you fill in the remaining 50%. It should not be that you spend a few seconds giving an AI agent links to our YouTube channel, the CLEC website, Investment Translator, and other channels, and then it writes a whole book for you. Whether that is right or not is something you must judge for yourself.

The simplest test is this: if your book becomes famous and you are interviewed, can you speak fluently about our investing philosophy, or your own investing philosophy?

When people ask you questions, can you answer directly and independently? You cannot stand on a media interview or lecture stage and tell people to go read the book themselves.

First, of course, you need to fully absorb and integrate all of our information. When you have learned to the point where you can go out into the world on your own, and your knowledge is overflowing, then writing a book, giving speeches, or teaching classes will happen naturally. It should not be writing a book merely for the sake of writing a book.

Ask yourself whether you feel you could speak to a group of people about our investing philosophy for a full day, eight hours without stopping. If you can, then writing a book is a natural next step.

If AI alone writes the book and you do not output any knowledge or insight yourself, that is truly terrible. It becomes like a translating parrot.

If you are confident enough in our investing philosophy to open a course of more than 16 classes, two hours per class, then directing AI to write a book is still acceptable. You may be able to speak out 50% from what you know in the course, with AI filling in the other 50%. A book like that has a soul.

Also, when writing a book, do not try to put every concept into it at once. The first book should be something like an introduction to CLEC investing and personal finance philosophy. Later, you can divide the topics into another book for beginners, then asset allocation, risk management, family and life, the art of spending money as a wealthy person, and so on. Our investing philosophy can produce many books. There is no end to them.

Think about what I said above, especially the first point: do you yourself understand our investing philosophy? If you are confident enough to teach a course of 16 classes, two hours each, for a total of 32 hours, then you have enough ability to turn it into a book. Only after you have that ability is it appropriate to publish one.

Chapter 95: The Process of Becoming Wealthy, a Life of Freedom

Dear Teacher James, I sincerely say hello to you and wish you good health and all the best. As a follower of yours, I hope to share with you what I have experienced over the past year. First, I want to mention 2022. That year was full of challenges and opportunities for me. In December 2021, I heard about the investment opportunity in CLEC and made the bold decision in January 2022 to go all-in on the market and choose to invest at the high point of the stock price

The Market Is Not Made by Rising. The Market Is Made by Falling.

A market bottom often forms through panic selling, not immediate buying after a small decline. Investors should be patient.

[Investment Philosophy (12)] - Judgment of the four seasons of the investment market

Common investors have a misunderstanding, that is, the stock market will rise only when the economy is good. If the economy is not good, the stock market will not rise, or it should not rise. It is because of this misunderstanding that people do not accept the fact that the market will rise psychologically, and use practical actions to resist the rise of the market, thus missing opportunities. The universe is huge and the market is huge. Investors can only survive if they humbly learn the operation of the universe, the alternation of the four seasons, and the cyclical laws of the market. If you accept the market and learn the cycle of the market, investing will become very simple and making money is inevitable.
