When opening an investment account or applying for securities-backed lending, do not let financial consultants, salespeople, or relationship managers push you into financial products you do not need.

If you need help from my Charles Schwab financial consultant, you may contact her directly.
My Charles Schwab financial consultant is Lisa. You can contact her directly; she is very professional and should be able to help.
Lisa's contact information is [email protected]. Lisa is from Taiwan and has no problem listening, speaking, reading, or writing Chinese.
Email Lisa directly and say that you were referred by CLEC James. Ask her to help with account opening or other questions.
You can ask Lisa to help open an account and apply for PAL.
For investing, follow my recommendation and invest in the QQQ index fund.
Lisa generally understands my investment philosophy: we invest only in index funds, mainly QQQ.
For account opening and investing, use the QQQ we recommend.
Charles Schwab's checking account and debit card are very useful. ATM fees are reimbursed when withdrawing cash around the world. Schwab lets you apply for a Visa Debit Card and checks. The Visa Debit Card can withdraw local currency globally, with a daily limit equivalent to US$1,000, converted at the international VISA exchange rate for that day and without a fee. In Taiwan, for example, an ATM may first deduct NTD 100, and Charles Schwab will later reimburse it.
When using a Charles Schwab debit card or any credit card abroad, choose to settle in the local currency, not in US dollars. Charles Schwab Bank converts at market rates immediately, which is very good and does not add foreign card transaction fees.
