Chapter 2: The Most Important Thing in Investing Is Choosing the Right Target
If you go in the wrong direction, you will never reach your destination.
When investing, you must choose a broad-based index fund!
You also need to choose the right market, and the United States is the right market right now!
You cannot invest in long-term bonds, you cannot invest in corporate bonds, you cannot invest in any bonds.
Cash parking places are Treasury bond ETFs (BOXX; 00865B) and money market funds with maturities under one year.

Investment risks are high and may result in significant losses. If you cannot bear a loss of more than 10% in the short term or a decline of more than 20% in a few years, it is recommended not to invest. Please pay attention to the safety of your own cash flow and fully understand our investment philosophy before acting. Investments need to be prudent and all decisions must be made at your own responsibility.
Broad-based index funds!
-
Passive, market-cap-weighted index funds are better at recognizing the market.
-
American QQQ (Taiwanese 00662)
-
A small amount of Taiwan’s 0050 (I don’t know how many years it will take for Taiwan to ride on the AI supply chain train, but this period of prosperity should be okay.)
-
The rest are not recommended. VT, SPY, VOO, and similar funds are not recommended; these will make you poor.
Every country in the world has its own role
Why choose the United States
-
Every country in the world has its own role
-
The global supply chain starts from raw materials, petroleum and minerals, to processing, to production and manufacturing, and then to export products and finally to brand sales.
-
The United States is about brand sales and product innovation. This is the most effective position for added value, gross profit margin, net profit margin and resources.
-
Taiwan, South Korea, and China are mainly engaged in product manufacturing and export sales. They can only sell their people's labor and materials while polluting the environment.
-
Next are the raw materials and minerals from the Third World. There is little added value.
-
It's like a train. The United States is the locomotive. It is impossible for other carriages to be faster than the front. If the speed of the rear of the train in the world exceeds that of the front, the train will definitely overturn. Therefore, no matter how fast the other carriages are, they cannot be faster than the United States for a long time.

The key to capitalist wealth is long-term investment in the U.S. Nasdaq 100 Index Fund.

Who cannot invest?
-
For those who cannot bear the market decline, please stay out of the market and do not enter the stock market.
-
Funds needed for short-term use cannot be invested.
-
Index funds are very safe compared to other investments. If you can't afford even the Nasdaq 100 Index Fund, then you should avoid all investments. You can only put your money in fixed deposits. Any investment is risky for you and is close to fraud.
-
Because you don’t understand, if you invest in something you don’t understand, you will be defrauded.

One hundred million now, ten billion in the future

now we are here
The sooner you invest in your life, the richer you will be. The monthly investment amount can reach one million US dollars in retirement.

Retirement after twenty years US$2153.00 US$1306.00 US$1000.00

The market will always rise
-
Investing in the U.S. Nasdaq Index Fund means believing in technology, the United States, and humanity. Live and die with America and humanity.
-
There will be profits in the long term, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be losses in the short term. A person six feet tall will drown in an average of two feet of water.
-
Any high point will be a low point in the future. But some people will still go bankrupt in the market, because a short-term market drop will make you fall into a bottomless abyss. The magnitude of the drop is unimaginable, so if you still do financing, you will definitely go bankrupt.
-
Investors must do a good job in risk control in order to survive when the market drops by 80%.
You don’t need to know a lot about investing, so don’t ask about the following
-
Do not ask about individual stocks. And do not ask about other investment targets I did not mention.
-
Don't ask when to buy? Don't ask when to sell?
-
Don’t ask when will it fall? Don’t ask when will it rise?
-
Don’t ask, will it still fall? Don't ask where it will fall?
-
Don’t ask, will it still rise? Don't ask where it will rise?
-
Investing is not about knowing more, the better. Buying when you have the money and not selling is the key point.
