My experience as someone who retired early is for your reference! This is my personal verification that Buffett's suggestion of investing only in U.S. index funds is still the easiest to implement and the success rate is guaranteed.

There are hundreds of ways to invest. Investing in US index funds is a proven and successful way. You can have different investment methods (if they have been proven successful for 20 or 30 years.)

Buy U.S. Index [ETF] SPY, QQQ (You can also buy Franklin High-tech Fund, Franklin Growth Fund. You have to buy the right fund, so I only recommend index funds. These two party funds are very stable in the long term and are the first choice for Taiwanese investors. I have nothing to do with the fund company, I am just one of the long-term investors)

Hold for the long term and never sell! You will be rich if you do this!

When you retire in the future, if you need money, sell as much as you need. If you don’t need the money, don’t sell! No more operations required.

A young man who invests NT$6,000 every month and regularly buys the above Franklin Growth Fund or Franklin High-tech Fund for forty years will have NT$30 million. If he deducts NT$12,000 every month, he will have NT$60 million when he retires. If he invests NT$20,000 every month, he will have hundreds of millions when he retires. No need to know too much or do anything to become a rich man!

Investing is simple, buy the index and never sell, you will be rich!

Retirement expenses and investment cash flow determine how much money you need to retire.

General recommendation Annual expenses X 25 (times)

For example, if the monthly expenses are 50,000 yuan, the annual expenses will be 600,000 yuan.

Six hundred thousand times 25 = $15 million

So prepare $1500 to invest in the US index SPY, QQQ

With annualized compensation of 10%, you can earn $1.2 million a year.

If you spend $600,000, the principal will keep accumulating, and you won’t be able to spend it all in a lifetime or from generation to generation. [Wealth] means [money] can never be spent.

The most indispensable thing in the world is statements that scare investors to death, making them feel stupid and as if they have to listen to professionals to make money. Buffett has proven this wrong.

In the investment world, those who drive a Mercedes take investment advice from those who take the bus.

In the end, those who drive a Mercedes can only take the bus, and those who take the bus switch to a Mercedes.

Investment Rule No. 1: Don’t listen to the advice of experts and people who collect your money. Because he lives on your money and cannot support himself through his own investments, he believes that their advice can help you make money.

Buffett recommends that ordinary investors only buy the index and never operate it.

But investors don't like it, because everyone buys but doesn't operate. Investors can only drink from the northwest wind and always take the bus.

So investors should take advice from successful investors who are already successful in the market and don't charge you a fee. (Buffett is a successful investor and does not charge you handling fees. He recommends only buying index funds.) Instead of listening to the advice of some science colleges or teachers who have to make a living by charging you handling fees and membership fees.

Exposing the Enormous Wealth Gap Between Stock-Backed Borrowing and Selling Stock to Live On!

Estate tax in Taiwan can be paid in kind, so heirs need not sell shares just to pay it. Funding living costs with a stock-backed loan could leave a net estate more than NT$400 million larger after 40 years—provided interest rates, loan ratios, and forced-liquidation risk are managed.

[Investment Philosophy (5)] - Real Investment

The key to successful investment lies in optimism, creativity and imagination about investment targets and markets, rather than in calculation ability and rigid technical analysis. When you use iPhone Siri to compose an email, (I am using it) what impact does it have on our investment? Think about how much impact iPhone Siri will have on future business models. iPhone Siri's voice recognition is the information sent back to the cloud computing. Correct

Chapter 60 [Investment Philosophy] - The Four Seasons of the Investment Market!

One common misunderstanding among investors is that the stock market will rise only if the economy is good, and the stock market will not rise or should not rise if the economy is bad. This is not the case. The stock market is the showcase of the economy. The stock market leads the economy because investing in the stock market is investing in the future. The misconception of ordinary investors is that they psychologically accept that the market will not rise when the economy is not good, or that the market will not rise in an era of high interest rates (for the same high interest rates, the beginning of raising interest rates, the mid-range of raising interest rates, and the tail end of raising interest rates are completely different.
