Not Entering the Game Is the Best Way to Break the Game
I am a complete beginner. I wrote to another email address before, and you said you now only use this one, so I am writing here.
James,
Hello. I am a complete beginner. I wrote to another email address before, and you said you now only use this one, so I am writing here.
This Saturday, I listened to 00572 live but did not get a chance to join the queue. I had many feelings.
When I heard Taiwanese friends talk about labor insurance, it felt the same for us. We call it social insurance. Social insurance is also tied to children's schooling. If you have not bought a home in a school district and want your child to attend a public school, you have to queue according to the number of years you have paid social insurance. In effect, most people are forced to pay social insurance.
The contribution base keeps rising. Even more exaggerated, if the base rises this year, you still have to make up the difference for the entire previous year. You also cannot withdraw it. You have to wait until retirement, when the government returns only a very small portion.
These past two days, I only just began reading Blaise's CLEC Handbook. It feels like a powerful system upgrade for the brain.
In the book, you mentioned being "busy but not rich." When combined with social insurance, systems, education, and after-school tutoring, it feels as if every link has already been designed.
Regarding this, I think the idea you have spread and taught everyone for many years is actually this: not entering the game is the best way to break the game.
In the past, I did not accumulate wealth properly. I had overseas work experience, but after returning to mainland China, I did not work hard, because I felt I could not see an end to it. I also liked reading "useless books." I also really like what you said: "I think, therefore I am."
I like reading Rousseau, Hesse, Beauvoir, Camus, and Van Gogh.
Under traditional education, what we hear most often is "everyone else does this" and "they say." Who are "they"? Why must I do something just because others do it? When I was young, I kept thinking about these questions.
After listening to your lessons and continuously building my financial intelligence system, I finally found motivation and purpose in work. My days finally have something to look forward to and hope for. Thank you, teacher.
As for housing, I once impulsively wanted to buy a home, but I did not have the courage to take on a 30-year mortgage. Looking back now, that was truly fortunate.
The me today uses the cost of one cup of milk tea per day to live in a large countryside villa. It is very peaceful and comfortable. The attachment is the view from the room window.
My current progress and assets are not yet enough for me to raise a question. I will keep following your steps closely.
I am deeply grateful to have met you among the vast sea of people. Every student who can meet and follow you is blessed.
