The following are some of the most valuable investment suggestions. If you do this, you will become rich:

[*] The most important thing about investing is to buy the right investment target (index fund) and hold it for a lifetime. The best strategy is not to operate until you need money, sell as much as you need.

【ㄧ】Collate the total amount of funds available for investment in all accounts. (U.S. investors include retirement accounts such as 401Ks, IRAs, etc.)

[2] For Taiwanese investors, those who are still working are best able to save $6,000 or more every month and invest 0050 or Franklin High-Tech Fund or Franklin Growth Fund.

[3] For American investors who are still employed, withdraw the full amount of ROTH 401K and do not withdraw traditional 401K and traditional IRA (unless the company does not provide ROTH 401k)! With the funds on hand, set aside one year's emergency funds for living expenses, and buy the rest into SPY and QQQ.

[4] American investors who have retired, if they have a traditional IRA, should transfer 1/9 to a ROTH IRA every year. They hope to transfer all the traditional IRA to a ROTH IRA before the age of 70. If you have a traditional 401K, you should roll it over to a traditional IRA first and then roll it over to a ROTH IRA every year.

[5] Those who have retired should keep cash for emergency needs for two to three years, and buy the rest into SPY and QQQ. Taiwanese investors bought Franklin Growth Fund and Franklin High-Tech Fund.

[6] If you have some stocks in your hands, regardless of profit or loss, and you are not clear about the company's prospects and business model, please sell them and buy SPY or QQQ instead. Taiwanese investors buy Franklin Growth Fund, Franklin High-Tech Fund

[7] Keep emergency cash, either in a fixed deposit or in the money market (the money market code in SCHWAB is SWVXX). Or buy short-term bonds. Taiwanese investors buy certificates of deposit.

American investors, if you have an account with CHARLES SCHWAB, you can buy currency fund SWVXX

The following is our YouTube video from December 2018. At 27 minutes and 55 seconds you can see our video introducing how to buy treasury bonds at Schwab, teaching you step by step how to buy. Remember to make sure it is a two-month or short-term Treasury bond before buying it. Don't buy Treasury bonds that last too long.

The above are my investment suggestions for you, but you must understand that there are definitely risks in investment. You should make stable investments based on your own personality, and do not exceed the risk you can afford! You are responsible for your investment profits and losses! Chapter 59 [Investment Philosophy] - Think independently when facing the market!

One of the keys to success for investors in the market is independent thinking. All studying in class, reading books and our investment information, this kind of learning is part of the knowledge. There is knowledge that can be taught, learned, and researched, but knowledge is only part of investment success. Only knowledge that has been thought about by oneself is useful. Successful investors all have a part of "nothing" that has been internalized. It is based on correct investment knowledge and internalized into self-independent thinking and self-control.
