The market only goes up over the long run

Clubhouse, easy to talk about investing in CLEC.

Market volatility has nothing to do with me!

  • Market volatility has nothing to do with me!

  • The international situation has nothing to do with me!

  • Market analysis has nothing to do with me!

  • The economic situation has nothing to do with me!

  • Everything has nothing to do with me!

  • Ignore market noise and volatility!

For more than 20 years, we have devoted ourselves to volunteer teaching and have never profited from it. Do not trust any paid investment advice. YouTube may show ads on videos, but that is outside our control and we do not profit from them.

Investing is high risk and may cause significant losses. If you cannot tolerate a short-term loss of more than 10% or a decline of more than 20% over several years, do not invest. Protect your cash flow and fully understand our investment philosophy before taking action. Invest prudently; every decision is your own responsibility.

New friends, please watch the following videos on our channel first.

Investing blindly without learning is dangerous

  • Watch our videos and ask specific questions, including:

  • The video number and the timestamp where the question appears.

  • Asking questions after watching the video is the most effective way to learn.

CLEC has no discussion groups, and we have not authorized anyone to do anything

  • We cannot know the membership or purpose of any group, and such groups are easily infiltrated by bad actors.

Our recommended investments are mainly the Nasdaq-100 index fund QQQ and corresponding local ETFs issued in each country

  • Do not blindly trust financial advisers, including Charles Schwab financial consultants. They can help open accounts, but we do not recommend fully accepting the ETFs or other financial products they propose.

  • Over the long run, the Nasdaq-100 index fund and the S&P 500 index fund have been the best-performing investments. Individual stocks, other funds, and wealth-management products usually do not help investment success and should be avoided.

We recommend investing 100% in the Nasdaq-100 index fund

  • In the U.S.: buy QQQ, or QQQM when capital is limited. Cash can be invested in money market fund SWVXX or short-term Treasury bill ETFs BIL and SGOV.

  • Taiwan investors: Fubon Nasdaq 00662 is recommended. Cash can be invested in CTBC U.S. Government 0-1 Year Bond ETF Fund (00864B.TW).

  • China investors: 513100/513300/160213/159941/161130/159660 are suggested.

  • Hong Kong investors: HKD 3086, USD 9086, ETF 2834 (Hong Kong dollar)/9834 (US$).

  • Canada investors: convert to U.S. dollars and buy QQQ directly, or use CAD products such as QQC.TO/ETF (HXQ.TO).

  • Australian investors: recommend NDQ purchases.

  • UK investors: iShares VII Public Limited Company - iShares Nasdaq 100 UCITS ETF (CNDX.L), denominated in USD, is recommended. In Europe, EQQQ and CSPX.L are recommended for the SP500 index fund.

  • Brazil: The recently launched NASD 11 is the NASD11.

  • Japanese investors: Option 2568/1545/2631.

  • Malaysia and Singapore citizens can buy U.S. QQQ through Phillip Securities' POEMS Cash Plus trading account.

  • Korea: QQQ ETF recommended 368590. KS/133690. KS/367380. KS.

Since 2018, we have kept all our videos on YouTube so everyone can learn investing in chronological order

Since 2018, we've kept all the videos on YouTube for investment in time.

  • The video reflects the market situation and the right investment decisions, but with time, some strategies may no longer be appropriate, and these are valuable learning resources.

  • The viewers should be able to think about the content of the film in conjunction with the market and develop their own thinking and judgement skills.

  • Some of our early investment proposals included certain shares and general funds, which were good investment options at the time, but the right ones also needed to consider individual risk tolerance and investment strategies.

The market keeps rising forever; it only goes up, not down

I'm allocating cash. I don't have any money for the short term, so we don't have any short-term waves.

  • The best way to do this is to stay away from the market, not look at market booms every day, delete APPs, market crashes have nothing to do with us, all events will go up because of the past, the market will eventually rise, and in a few decades your wealth will increase several times, which is the purpose of investment.

  • I'm allocating cash, and I can't afford to invest money in the short term, so we don't care about short-term waves.

  • Even retired friends, if there is enough recommended retirement money, there should be enough capital, with only 2% per year, or a more stable asset allocation of 3% or 6% per year, forever, and no matter how the market moves, we need to worry.

  • The allocation of high dividends is focused only on the monthly dividends of 0056, the fixed monthly pay, and the price of the shares has nothing to do with us.

  • The international situation has nothing to do with me!

  • Market analysis has nothing to do with me!

  • The economy has nothing to do with me!

  • Everything has nothing to do with me!

  • Ignore market noise and volatility!

Hello, Mr. James.

    1. With regard to the allocation of assets, you have mentioned in your paper that the ratio is 433 or 442 and that you rebalance it wisely at the beginning of each year. Would you like to know if there are new investments after the asset has been configured, as well as proportionally?
  • James replied:

  • If investment is vaguely correct, if it is allocated to 433, then so can investment in the prototype fund for three months each year.

  • If you invest 442, you can invest four months in the prototype fund, four months in the fund, four months in the fund, and, of course, five months in the prototype fund, two months in the fund.

  • Because at the end of each year you'll have the smart balance between the fund and the cash, you'll end up with a little rebalancing correction.

  • So investment doesn't need to be too precise, just vague.

James Reply

  • The last time I e-mailed you, asked the mainland to contact the host, for about a week, I left, and the crowd was agitated, the demons danced, and some people asked questions about their investments, but no one answered, and the owner built a $399 nanostar to pay for it. I'm telling you, it's not about making people's reports, it's just that you've been a selfless professor for over 20 years, and the students have been paying for it. I prefer to listen to your lessons in peace and to see the books you and others recommend.

  • In fact, if it turns out that group management is too bad, you don’t have to join the group, let alone pay for it. Some people might help each other if they can’t help each other.

People are going to have to judge themselves and leave without the need for chaos.

  • I know there are a lot of highly qualified volunteers in Taiwan who are helping new friends to respond to the questions, but if they don’t get a good answer, they can leave. Just write to me if you have any questions.

  • When the snowballs saw Yongping, the forest, but the investment was not for sale, I found it strange that they were private fund-raisers, taking money from investors, even if they only bought it or not, and not when the investors wanted it? Then I asked the question in the sticker, and I was answered that because they were an investment stock, like Yongping, and each year they had a share of the toilet, they had billions of dollars, and the price they bought was cheap, so they could buy and sell. And if we're going to buy and sell, we're going to have to use it to buy and sell. I think it's actually a difference between investing in a stock and investing in an investment-indicative fund. Do you think that's right? Could you point to the advantages and disadvantages of these two types of investment?

James replied.

  • Anyone who buys or doesn't sell, who actually invests, can kill or not sell. A hundred years later, who can guarantee that apples will exist after a hundred years? Who can guarantee that any company will exist after a hundred years? No firm existed 100 years ago in Dow Jones, so a stock could not be held for long. Who knows if Barfett's Coca-Cola's still exists after the year, when humans grow smaller, the more robots drink Coke? It's more and more robots' preferences.

  • It's not common for a single share to be able to handle, but it's hard for all of them.

  • In fact, if you're going to have high dividends like SPHD, you're going to retire without selling it alone.

  • That is to say, the investor of an index fund, who can never sell an index fund, and who can live with dividends and hold them for a long time. Instead, the owner of a stock, even though it is short-term enough for you not to sell a stock, will disappear completely.

  • And you don't have to ask for answers! Ask the demons out there for answers.

  • These gods say that they will not sell their shares, that they will sell them, and that they will not tell you when they sell them. It's just that they have a long-standing vision.

  • It's just that they never sell when they talk, a long-held concept, and don't seriously think they never sell. In fact, they'll sell their shares. It's only when they sell. He didn't tell you. They also took their words seriously.

After following you, these two years of investing have felt truly steady; I believe it will continue to feel steady, thank you teacher

  • It's no big deal to listen to the live broadcast because it's not very timely to listen to your lessons in the sky. Mostly on Saturdays, not updated, missing, which is a little sad.

  • After following you, the investment for the last two years has been very determined, and I'm sure I'll continue to do so. Thank you, sir.

  • It's supposed to be on time, but it's not like we can control it.

  • Also, volunteers in China are on a field trip for a month, for example, for the next month, and may not be able to upload for a month. This needs to be understood, but we have a long life of information that we still take after a year.

Investment friends in Canada

  • HXQ: (Looks better)

  • That's $600 million.

  • MER: 0.27%, no red investment, no 15% withholding tax.

  • QQC:

  • A scale of $1.7 billion.

  • MER: 0.20% red, 15% withholding tax

Do not casually try to call the bottom; you may touch a great white shark

  • The most important thing is to be alive, not to be greedy about the kind of heart that wants to be copied, and not to do anything if there's a chance that you won't survive.

  • By the end of the year, if the market still falls, you will have the chance to rebalance, or at least not to rush, and if the fear that you are going to fall at the end of the year is wasted, then we will be able to do it once a year, and it is important to live.

  • Investing is about staying alive. If you live long enough, you will become wealthy. Do not rush to become wealthy and get buried in water that is three feet deep on average.

Some things never existed in some people's heads, so they couldn't understand.

  • So a real understanding requires a three-step approach to "know risks" and "undertake risks" and "control risks".

  • To accept that there is a risk, the risk may happen in the next second, and then to understand the risk of research (in fact, the risk happens everywhere, the earthquake comes in the next second, do you expect it?

  • It's only when you know there's always a risk of accepting it, that you know how to control it. It's important to know that cash is so important.
