New friends, please watch the following videos from our channel first.

Investing blindly without learning is dangerous

  • Watch our videos and ask specific questions, including:

  • The video number and the timestamp where the question appears.

  • Asking questions after watching the videos is the most effective way to learn.

CLEC has no discussion groups, and we have not authorized anyone to do anything.

  • We cannot know the membership or purpose of any group, and such groups can easily be infiltrated by bad actors.

Our recommended investments are mainly the Nasdaq 100 index fund QQQ and corresponding local ETFs issued in each country.

  • Do not fully trust financial advisors, including Charles Schwab financial consultants. They can help open accounts, but we do not recommend fully accepting the ETFs or other financial products they suggest.

  • Over the long run, Nasdaq 100 index funds and S&P 500 index funds have the best performance. Individual stocks, funds, and other financial products outside these categories usually do not help investment success and should be avoided.

We recommend investing 100% in a Nasdaq 100 index fund

  • In the United States: buy QQQ, or QQQM if you have less capital. Cash can go into Money market SWVXX or short-term Treasury bill ETFs such as BIL and SGOV.

  • Taiwan investors: consider Fubon NASDAQ 00662; for cash, use CTBC U.S. Government 0-1 Year Bond ETF (00864B.TW).

  • China investors: consider 513100/513300/160213/159941/161130/159660.

  • Hong Kong investors: choose HKD 3086, USD 9086, or ETF 2834 (HKD)/9834 (USD).

  • Canada investors: exchange into USD and buy QQQ directly, or use CAD products such as QQC.TO/ETF (HXQ.TO).

  • Australia investors: consider buying NDQ.

  • UK investors: consider the USD-denominated iShares VII Public Limited Company - iShares NASDAQ 100 UCITS ETF (CNDX.L); in Europe, consider EQQQ and the SP500 index fund CSPX.L.

  • Brazil: The recently launched NASD 11 is the NASD11.

  • Japan investors: choose 2568/1545/2631.

  • Malaysian and Singaporean citizens: buy U.S. QQQ through a POEMS Cash Plus trading account.

  • Korea: recommended QQQ ETFs include 368590.KS/133690.KS/367380.KS.

The best investment is the Nasdaq 100 index fund

Since 2018, we have kept all videos on YouTube so everyone can study investing in chronological order.

  • The videos reflect the market conditions and appropriate investment decisions at that time. As time passes, some strategies may no longer apply, but they remain valuable learning resources.

  • Viewers should think about each video in the context of the market at the time and cultivate their own ability to think and judge.

  • Some of our early investment suggestions included certain individual stocks and ordinary funds. They were good choices at the time, but suitable investments still depend on personal risk tolerance and strategy.

Investors should always be extremely optimistic!

Investors should always face the sunshine!

@stephenlee9553

  • Hello, Teacher James. I am very interested in the Buffett investment philosophy you often mention and praise. May we consider putting part of our capital directly into Berkshire Hathaway shares (BRKA or BRKB) and holding them long term without selling? Thank you very much for your guidance.

Isn't it possible to invest in BRK, say it many times, no advice. All we're suggesting is a hundred funds in NASDAQ.

  • It's the same thing as the old Dow Jones's, and then the Dow Jones's, and then the 500's, and now the 500's.

  • A lot of things aren't good. The big wheel of times is always going forward.

We're learning to learn the spirit, not copying it, not just receiving it all.

  • Buffet's long six decades of investment performance has been good, but Buffet's capacity was appropriate in the past, as in the past Dow Jones and SP500.

  • Buffet's performance has recently been close to SP500.

  • We're learning about long-term investment, showing the best indicators of long-term investment.

  • But Pocca’s logic is within their power, which is not what we learn, much less what we invest.

@goodheart7686 6 hours ago

  • Mr. James, it seems more timely to ask you in your comments what you might see: AI is now developing very quickly, with many experts predicting that more than 50 percent of people will lose their jobs in the future. But instead of seeing much improvement in the opportunities for government to create jobs, how would the economy develop if such a situation really arose in the future? Is it possible that only those who master core technology will have the opportunity and resources, that the vast majority of ordinary people will be unemployed and harvested, that the economy will develop in the future, that 100 companies will have only a few core technology companies to develop, and that most of the remaining firms will be in a state of phase-out? It is impossible to imagine the future. If most people are unemployed and have no money, how can they consume?

In my personal experience, I've answered questions like that in the past.

  • First of all, when AI develops to a relative advantage, most of all production can be handled and manufactured by AI, which will increase its effectiveness, and the overall wealth of society will grow rapidly.

  • But there's a difference in the level of knowledge, and I think it's the level of capital and work and nothing.

  • Capital level has nothing to do with your IQ, it's about your ability to use your assets to earn your assets. This can be part of an attack class.

  • The real capitalists are the ones who don't spend their time making money. Like we're real capitalists, we don't worry about the development of artificial intelligence, but we're more interested in it.

  • And the other part, of course, is labour, and that's what you pay for.

  • Of course, the rest would be polarized and, if it were 80, 20, it would be better for 20 per cent of high-end workers and 80 per cent of the rest would be self-serving.

  • Twenty per cent of workers have excellent treatment and grades, a level that allows them to use their own labour to earn more than their basic human rights, and that earns better, but if they stop working, they may not be able to maintain their standard of living and fall down to the next level – that is, being raised. If not, you have to raise yourself to the capital level.

  • By the time artificial intelligence matures to the opposite level, production can increase, and the wealth of society increases, and it will be able to afford the minimum income, so the lowest double-culture level must guarantee the basic human rights to at least clothing and medical treatment. But beyond that, it may not be possible to give it to everyone.

  • For example, if you're going on a trip, I'm sorry it's not covered by the minimum income system, and if you're going to eat food and enjoy life, you may not be able to do it, or just occasionally. But it's all a matter of materiality.

So the final development of our human race is to satisfy the meaning of our lives in terms of philosophy and spirituality.

  • In fact, you can imagine a group of people who don't have to work, but with food and a house, their lives may be good, and they can be at the same level as the average income.

  • To the extent that artificial intelligence has developed, 80 per cent of humanity is unable to contribute to his abilities, what is the purpose of his life? This could be a bigger problem.

  • We can provide food and shelter, but his life is not enough, and people like this are usually depressed or you can say harsher words, which I describe as "people."

  • So the final development of our human race is to satisfy the meaning of our lives from the philosophical and spiritual level.

  • "The purpose of life is to increase the life of all human beings." How can you satisfy your spiritual needs when you cannot increase human life? What's the difference with other animals?

Sun Yat-sen said: serve one person, serve a hundred people, serve ten thousand people

  • This "one person's business" was meant to be self-sufficient, your income to feed yourself, you can work and you can eat and wear it, which means the material layer.

  • But the future of "one person's business" has no job to do and may include personal philosophy.

  • It may be very difficult to give thought to the adopted people, and if a person had a philosophy, he would not fall into this stage of being adopted.

  • Many people may think that such a hierarchy is a problem, but we have had a hierarchy since ancient times.

  • The answer is for you, of course, a little science fiction, but there's this question in everyone's mind, and I can imagine what the world will look like.
